While an associate degree education of 2 years is sufficient to become an anesthesia technician, it is necessary to study at the medical faculty for 6 years to become an anesthesiologist. After 6 years of medical education, it is necessary to take the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) and receive specialization training for 4 years in the anesthesia department. However, as a result of this 10-year training, one can become an anesthesiologist.
