A new Star Wars game has been announced

During the four days of the 2022 Star Wars Celebration, fans of the far-far galaxy could enjoy a number of novelties: for example, a new series has been announced with Jude Law, pre-arrived at Rogue’s Some Spin-Off, Andor, and Bad Batch . for the second stage of the animated series, The Mandalorian’s third season has premiered – and they’ve finally pulled the veil off the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

A new game called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, returns our favorite padawan, Cal Kestis, who has just survived Command 66 and the rise of the Galactic Empire and then, years later, as an adult, is forced to flee from inquisitors and bounty hunters.

The trailer, in which we can finally look into the second part of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is extremely short but very atmospheric. It seems like years have passed since previous adventures, but the Jedi Dancer still doesn’t have a receipt. This can be deduced from the ominous words of a figure who resembles the Chief Inquisitor until he speaks, and from the person floating in the bacta tank, the cold runner is also on our backs.

Many were hoping that Cal Kestis ’new adventure could pay homage even on previous-generation consoles, but Respawn Entertainment has now made it clear that the game is expected to be available exclusively for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and, of course, PCs.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order became popular because the game mixed the acrobatic movement of the Uncharted series and the rock-hard boss system of the Dark Souls in a completely unique way while allowing us to explore the universe in relative freedom over and over again. And returning to different planets, as Cal became more nutritious, we were able to discover more and more.

The central theme of the game will be survival. That’s why he got the title Jedi: Survivor. Dark times are coming, and Cal and his crew have to do everything they can to stay alive. It also brings with them that sometimes they have to make friends with stomach-turning figures. The trailer highlights this, but I don’t want to betray and spoiler too much.

Said Stig Asmussen, creative director of the Star Wars Jedi series.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor promises to be an awfully dark game – it will hit the shelves in 2023.
